Open May through October, camping, picnicking, restrooms, trailer sites, water. Located 6 miles east of Austin on US50.

Big Creek

12 miles from Austin in the Reese River Valley. Open May through October, camping, picnicking, restrooms, trailer sites, fishing. North of the wilderness on FS#002, 17 miles west of SR 376 and 12 miles south of US 50.

Kingston Canyon

36 miles from Austin. Elevation 6500 feet. 24 single sites and two group sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Pine Creek, a mountain stream, runs through the campground. Hunting and fishing are nearby. There is also an undeveloped campsite along Barley Creek. Open year round, weather permitting. Camping, picnicking, restrooms, trailer sites, fishing. Located at the north end of the wilderness, 5.5 miles west of SR376, on FS#002.

Peavine

Elevation 5500 feet. There are 10 single sites and one group site. A mountain stream runs through the campground with fishing and hunting nearby. Open year round, weather permitting. Camping (14-day limit), picnicking, restrooms, trailer sites, fishing. No drinking water available. Campfire permit no required. Located at the south end of the wilderness, 9.3 miles off SR376 on FS#020.

Open May to mid-October, camping, picnicking, restrooms, trailer sites, stock loading, fishing. Located at the end of FS#009, access via SR376, then Monitor Valley Road.
