Kingston Fire Company
Annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner
Celebrate St. Paddy’s Day in Kingston! The Town of Kingston Fire Company is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Dinner at 6:00 pm, at the Kingston Community Hall. The cost is $10.00 and (7 and under are free!) Festivities include corned-beef and cabbage dinner with all the fixin’s, beer (of course!), wine, whiskey, bingo with great prizes, raffles, auctions, and a .45/410 gun raffle. All proceeds benefit the town of Kingston Fire Company. For more information, call 775-964-2120.

Lincoln Highway Car Show
Once again the Main Street of Austin will be filled with both street shaking muscle cars and vintage automobiles! The show is hosted by the Alvisto Roadsters and is open to all vehicles including hot rods, customs, classics, and race cars. For more information, call The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce at 775-964-2200 or Jerry Foreman at 408-203-3942 and download the Lincoln Highway Poster and entry form


July 4
Parade, Street Events, & Activities
The Austin 4th of July celebration this year will include a parade, street events, and other special activities. At 10:00 am the parade begins at the Austin Museum and continues to the Bert T. Gandolfo Park. At 12:00 noon the Lions Club will be BBQing, and free hot dogs and hamburgers will be available. From 12:00 pm to 4 pm there will be a DJ and karaoke at the park presented by Mountain Sounds DJ. Old fashioned games including a sack race and egg toss will be held throughout the afternoon. Annual Fire Fighters’ Picnic
Our scenic town is nestled into Kingston Canyon, a beautiful section within the grandiose Toiyabe Mountains. Travel just south of Austin on Highway 50, along the Big Smoky Valley, and join us in this annual celebration of “everything Kingston!” For more information, call The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce at 775-964-2200.

August 18
Annual Austin Fly-In
The Austin Fly-In, sponsored by the Austin Lions Club, will feature pilots from over five states. The event will feature a BBQ dinner served around noon, followed by flour bomb drops, touch downs, and other airplane games. This is always a great event and it kicks off  at 10:am, Saturday, August 19th, at the Austin Airport and lasts most all day. Prospectors Dream Wine Walk

Yes, everyone has a lot of fun at this event! Plan a trip to Austin on September 9th for our annual Prospectors Dream Wine Walk. This is truly a unique experience where wine lovers can enjoy both a sip of wine and a taste of the town. The walk begins at 2:00 PM at the Austin Museum and continues to several locations along the historic Main Street. A hay wagon will pick everyone up at 5:00 pm to take them to Stokes Castle for a sunset dinner. Following dinner, there’ll be a toast with special souvenir wine glasses, then the ride back to town. Advance tickets are $25, and day of the event tickets are $30. It’s time to take a taste of Austin! Sponsored by The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce. Oat Bran Bike Tour
TGFT Productions and Bike The West is proud to continue to produce the 25th Annual “OATBRAN – America’s Loneliest Bike Tour.” This annual Epic Journey across the Silver State is not just a bike tour but a more like a personalized bicycling vacation tour offered to bicycling enthusiasts from all over the World.
